Healthy Travel Snacks

Whether you’re on the go or looking for a few sugar-free, healthy snacks, this nourishing list is sure to prepare you for eating health on the go. I rarely get caught without a snack in my purse, but if I truly get stuck, there’s always a healthy grocery store or farmer’s market to explore. I fill up my bag with carrots and healthy crackers and I’m good to go. Here are a few of my traveling faves!

  1. Nick’s Sticks: Turkey sticks; lean, high protein snack – Enter “BACONBROCCOLI” at checkout for a discount!

  2. Brooklyn Biltong: Air dried beef snacks.

  3. Thermos: I pack my steel cut oats in here before the flight takes off in the early a.m.

  4. Ludenberg Square Rice Cakes: Easy to add raspberries and almond butter; I like the square because they travel well.

  5. Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Tea: Lovely herbal tea, only available in December or online!

  6. Riceless Sushi Roll: Nori Seaweed Make your own sushi by adding sashimi grade salmon or smoked salmon, capers and cucumbers

  7. Ocean’s Halo has amazing snacks and condiments, available at Whole Foods & Good Earth.
